so, the sun has been smiling her gold face here for several days... thank God. And therefore, the Brits are in full beach/city by the sea mode; This weekend, was a holiday and hundreds and hundreds came here to seek their good times. . .
so, the reason for my blogging::: i went for a run today (and it's kind of hard to picture, but there is the main road by the sea, up high, and then there is a turn-back hill that takes you down to the sea-level, some 500 feet below) partly on the main road sidewalk and then turned down the hill to get to the sea walk for the rest of my run.... when low and behold i spotted an Indian man, turbin and all, large black beard, and an Obama (face) t-shirt and multi-colored floral swim-trunks... omg. "i want to take my picture with this man!!!" 'Yes we can!'
(Think Darjeeling Limited, middle-aged guy in the remote village)
luckily i was running and had no camera, or i would have embarrassed myself for sure.
then, later, i was walking this near same path to go get some grocery's at the marina, (got paid today!) when i noticed the "natural beach" was in full 'swing'... although there is a sand/rock hill that is supposed to shield the eyes from anything, you can still spot where the trousers usually were, and the white pale flesh now bares for all the world to see.............. including it so happens, the Indian man and his entire huge family! WTF? they were clearly hanging out in the "natural" zone!!! (but still clothed mostly) i thought about running to save them and explain, but (get a grip idiot!) they are not from BFE and know what/where they are.... which then struck me as pretty odd. what is this Indian family doing hanging out with all the naked gay men??? i pondered that for a while, let me tell you...
i didn't get close enough to know for sure, but i think from the few faces i could see, staring blankly at the family, the men were wondering the same thing.
i love my city.
